Design of a small gallery for architectural exhibitions at the Weissenhof Siedlung. Build in 1927 the 'Siedlung' was thaught as an example for a contemporary way of housing space.
The new gallery in front of Mies van der Rohes Appartement building shows its connection to the existing 'classics' but also makes clear to be a product of another time and serve a different function.
The building consists of two floors, the entrance level with a little bookshop and library and the exhibition below the ground. Both levels are connected by a multimedia stair which prepares the visitor for the coming exhibition.
